Symphony of Stones
Symphony of Stones is one of Armenia's most unusual natural landmarks, where tall basalt columns line the Garni Gorge like a giant stone organ.
Symphony of Stones feels very different from Armenia's monasteries and fortresses because the main attraction is purely geological. The dark basalt columns rise in organized vertical patterns and create one of the most distinctive natural textures in the country.
It works especially well together with Garni Temple and Geghard because the route combines open views, cultural landmarks, and one dramatic natural formation without requiring a long transfer from Yerevan.
